Conservatives and liberals everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief as Harriet Miers has withdrawn her nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Miers lack of experience in the judicial system has worried lawyers, judges, activists and laypeople alike. Her nomination was not expected to be approved.
