Charity Begins at Erblaw

Help Us Help Others

We’ve heard from many of you out there - especially our nonprofit clients - that the state of the economy has affected charitable giving.  In fact, according to a study (Giving USA Foundation), charitable giving fell in 2008 by the largest percentage in fifty years.

At Erblaw, we wanted to buck that trend and thought we’d look to you, our friends and clients, to help us help others.  Through the rest of the year, we’re going to choose one charity to support each month based on your feedback.

Here’s how it works:  email charity@erblaw.com with your suggestions for deserving charitable organizations.  You can send as many suggestions as you’d like but please make sure that they are charitable organizations recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt.

We’ll post a poll each month on our blog at www.erblawg.com and will support the charity with the most votes for that month. There is no limit on the number of times that you can vote.

Thanks for helping us to make a difference.

I would like to vote for the charity Heavenly Angels in Need. It is a nation/worldwide group of volunteers who make items for families who have lost infants because of premature birth or other infant loss. The charity also helps with children of all ages through the other services HAIN offers. A bereavement forum supports families working through the crisis of loss. It is a wonderful group of people who are working diligently to help those in need.
